Welcome!  I’m Annette Marie, and I have been a Registered Dietitian since 1986.  I received my Bachelor’s in Dietetics from Marywood University and a Master’s degree in Nutrition Education from Immaculata University.  In 2006 I
became an ACE certified personal trainer and found a love for helping individuals incorporate weight training into their lifestyle.

I started my career in clinical dietetics at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ, where I gained a fond love for pediatric nutrition. I have gotten great fulfillment working with infants in the NICU and critical patients in the pediatric ICU.  I also have experience working in diabetes education, and working with families for improve lifestyle habits, increase overall health, as well as tackle obesity.  I have worked with patients of every age and every stage, but my passion these days is women’s nutrition throughout the entire lifecycle.

Since childhood, I’ve had a passion for sports, fitness, and health.  I played competitive sports throughout high school and after graduating college, I went on to begin weight training and enter bodybuilding competitions.  The strict nutrition and fluid intake these sports require increased my love of cooking and baking, tweaking my favorite recipes to make them healthier and support my nutritional needs at the time.

My fondness for cooking and baking was jumpstarted by my beautiful mother, who was an amazing cook.  I have three children, the oldest of whom has special needs, and enjoy dancing, writing, and music in my free time.  I have found a great love for yoga recently and am pursuing certification as a yoga teacher in 2021.
